J.B in Petawawa writes, “it was a sad day indeed when Danny’s Restaurant in Petawawa burnt down. The former spot where the restaurant used to stand is now an empty lot. Does anyone know if Danny’s restaurant will be rebuilt? If not it would be nice to have another type of fast food outlet such as Burger King. However, being so close to McDonalds they’ll fight tooth and nail to prevent to any restaurant or fast food outlet especially Burger King from being built there. Other fast food outlets could have lower prices than McDonalds and that would not be good for McDonalds but great for the many residents of Petawawa including military base folks who shop food outlets in Petawawa”.
